Individual Coaching in the New Global Executive MBA Program of HHL and EADA Strengthens Personal Leadership Qualities

The new Global Executive MBA program of German HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and Spanish EADA Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración business school starting at the end of September 2012 builds on executive coaching for the participants in addition to teaching core business administration competencies. Over the entire course of the 18-month, part-time management graduate program, individual coaching sessions may be completed which are tailored to the personal and professional aspects in the participants’ lives. The executive coaching sessions are carried out through a special training center outside of Barcelona, among others. They are aimed to further develop key qualifications such as communication, negotiation, conflict and diversity as well as intercultural management abilities which are essential for international leadership positions.

The Global Executive MBA program, taught entirely in English, will focus on the peculiarities and similarities of business practices in Western European countries (especially Germany and Spain). In addition, participants will gain insight into the economy and culture of the Chinese, Brazilian and Indian markets.

The structure of the 18-month program has been adjusted to the professional and personal needs of international managers. For the double degree from HHL and EADA, participants must successfully complete ten six-day residential weeks on various management disciplines over the course of 18 months and write a Master thesis. The Global Executive MBA program consists of eight compulsory modules of which four must be completed in Germany and four in Spain. Another two of three electives have to be completed at renowned business schools in Brazil, China or India.

Admission requirements for the Global Executive MBA program are a first-level academic degree, a minimum of seven years professional experience of which at least three years is in a leadership position, and an excellent command of English. The tuition fees, including course material as well as room and board during the residential weeks, amount to EUR 41,000. Applicants can obtain an early bird discount of 10 percent of the tuition fees before June 30, 2012.
